RAMFEL recognises the need for asylum seekers, migrants and refugees to play an active role in the life of their local communities. For many refugees and migrants their own personal experience of ‘migration’ means they are fuelled by an energy and enthusiasm to make things better for others like them.

RAMFEL can provide training, one-to-one support to help individuals and communities develop community and voluntary organisations. We can provide advice and assistance on:

how to set up as a community group or charity
how to develop and administer a management committee
how to fundraise
how to recruit and manage volunteers
how to develop polices
how to develop activities
getting in touch and networking with other voluntary groups and agencies that either may be able to help you or are interested in the work that you are doing
training provision on a wide range of issues
for groups in Redbridge we are also able to provide hot-desking facilities
