Newham Drop-in

RAMFEL runs a drop in for destitute asylum seekers every Saturday evening at the Bryant Street Methodist Church in Stratford.

The drop in is an opportunity for people from across the world who find themselves alone and isolated in East London to make new friends, get a hot meal, find out more about sources of help, advice and guidance for them locally. There is also access to qualified advisors, learn English, and access services to help individuals and families who are destitute.

Newham Refugee and Migrant Forum

RAMFEL is proud to join forces with and support Newham Refugee and Migrant Forum as the principle agency supporting Newham based organisations working with asylum seekers, migrants and refugees.

Our support includes capacity building for the Forum, advising them of key policy trends and consultations, as well as specialised capacity building support for member organisations. In return the Forum provides us with an understanding of the real challenges faced by MRCO (migrant and refugee community organisations) in Newham and their unique concerns and needs in one of the most diverse boroughs in London.
