RAMFEL Localising equality and globalisation for all communities in London and Essex
“THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.
THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.
THEN THEY CAME for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.
THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.”
That is why RAMFEL speaks out for all!
(adapted from Pastor Martin Niemoller)
RAMFEL is the Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London, a not for profit organisation led by the needs of the individuals and communities we work with. We place them at the very heart of our work. We work for asylum seekers, migrants, refugees, Black, Asian and ethnic minority communities and anyone experiencing discrimination.
